Hi, I'm Suzanne - an experienced, fully qualified BACP-registered integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor. But more importantly, I'm someone who truly understands what it's like to look 'successful' on the outside, yet feel overwhelmed, anxious, and disconnected inside.


I've been there myself - pouring energy into work, relationships, and doing all the "right" things, while quietly wondering why it still doesn't feel like enough. That's why I'm passionate about helping professional women like you untangle those inner knots: the self-doubt, the people-pleasing, the invisible weight you carry.


In our work together, I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can slow down, explore what's really going on, and begin reconnecting with the parts of you that may have been lost or silenced along the way. You don't have to stay stuck in this place - change is possible.

Anxiety

Overwhelm

Low Self Confidence

What Is Counselling?

Counselling is a space for you. A space to pause, reflect, and explore what’s going on beneath the surface -with someone who’s truly listening, without judgement or agenda.

Life can leave us carrying all kinds of emotional weight - anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt, relationship struggles, or a lingering sense that something just isn’t right. Counselling offers a safe and confidential place to begin making sense of those experiences. Not to "fix" you - but to understand you.

I work with an integrative approach, which means I draw on different therapeutic theories and methods to best meet your individual needs. At the heart of my work is relationship - building trust, safety, and real connection. I also work in a trauma-informed way, which means I’ll always move at your pace, with care for your nervous system, your boundaries, and your lived experience

  • Honesty about the process - Counselling isn’t a magic wand or a quick fix. Change takes time, and that’s okay. There may be moments of discomfort as we explore what’s under the surface—but you won’t be doing it alone.


  • Gentle challenge, not just nodding - While I’ll always meet you with empathy, I also believe in gently challenging the patterns, beliefs, or behaviours that may no longer be serving you. Therapy is a dynamic space - it’s not just about listening, but also about growth.

My location

I am located within easy reach of Hemel Hempstead, Kings Langley, Bovingdon, Berkhamsted, Tring, St. Albans, Watford, Amersham & Chesham.

Additionally, I can offer online or telephone counselling upon request.

I offer both short and long term therapy.

Fees

I provide an initial complimentary 20-minute telephone consultation to explore the reasons behind your interest in therapy. This conversation allows both of us to determine whether I am the right therapist for your needs.


Session fees are £70 for a 50 minute counselling session. Payment for each session should be made 48 hours before the session by bank transfer


Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you are unable to attend a session, please provide 48 hours’ notice to avoid being charged for the session. This enables me to offer the session to another client and we can rearrange your session for a time that is more convenient.
